Ayurveda is the ancient healing tradition of India. It is a holistic approach that defines health with reference to the body, mind, spirit, and environment. Health is seen as a state of balance relative to one's constitutional type which is based on the Five Elements. Thus, Ayurvedic therapeutics consists of applying the enrgetic language of Nature to redress imbalance and restore health.

In an initial consultation, which can take 1-2 hours, the client's constitutional type is determined and imbalances are evaluated. In a second consultation a treatment program is outlines. Usually herbal therapy is the primary therapy used. Diet and lifestyle issues, always important, are discussed and worked on gradually over time. The treatment program addresses the client's chief health needs.

Ayurveda shows remarkable results. This path of healing is powerful and lasting in nature.

Vedic Astrology is the ancient astrological tradition of India, the roots of which, like those of Ayurveda, stretch back thousands of years before recorded history. It has been called the "Mother of all sciences" as it is the science of the qualitative nature of time, space, the Sun, Moon, planets and stars, and their relation to terrestrial affairs.

As a master language of Nature, Vedic Astrology provides a planetary map of Karma (fate) which reveals the major themes of a person's life and their timing.

Bill Gannett received his B.A. in Persian and Arabic because of a love for Sufi Poetry. He has concentrated on Vedic Astrology for the past 10 years. He was a graduating member of the first class of the California College of Ayurveda with the degree of Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist.
